DHP Radio archives query

i recently streamed 2 archived episodes (Chuck P, btw very nice selections) from my iPhone and noticed unusually huge data consumption. less than an hour ate up at least 1/2 a gig. Is this normal?

I don't want to answer for DHP Radio but if it's a high-quality stream(which it is) then the bit rate is higher and the file is huge,especially if it's 320K or higher.

I agree Chuck P had a dope show last week.

The files are encoded at 128. Alternatively you can download the mixes. Links are under the player. Not really sure how A file that isnt half a gig can come out as such.

A 2 hour at 320 is around 300Mb, so just under ½Gb for 2 128's isn't shocking.

A friend streamed my show last week via 3G on her iphone whilst at work and before the end, she got a message from her provider that she'd breached the "fair usage amounts"

She now downloads while at home via wifi first

Chuck, apologies for the late reply. man, you`re running all the joints many have forgotten, including me. lol into the milky way got me open. haven't heard that one in years. now you got me running through my storage looking for this joint. again, very nice set and keep doing your thing. i`m a new fan!
