Hi Blake and congrats for this tune, even if I believe it has to be reshaped here and there, the collage is great and real deep (to me).

I'd say you should maybe decide to turn i into something more progressive or reduce it to 5 mins to make it more Dj friendly. You have something here!

You already have a slap bass which is great, so I didn't like the introduction of this synth/acid bass (playing only on my right speaker) at the 2:18 min mark.
I think it gets everything off, as your guitar riff is also something I would put one octave higher.
I would get ridd of this synth bass that doesn't bring good ear info to me, but bad ones.

Also, there's some kind of drum hapenning at 2:13, re-use that later my man, it'll help you create a better break.
The break: to me it's not good, no risks, I can't feel the intention, I think you could leave one sound of the initial "melody" and go for a totally different drum patterns (new drum sounds as well) and bring back the missing elements of your main groove after 30 secs up to 1 min, and let the groove go with this new drum pattern.

This way, your comeback at 4:55 would be more surprising. Think about the climax by Derrick May, going to a different trip but keeping your original groove (which I truly adore).

So, good groove, but I would make it more Dj friendly or way more progressive, and I'd create a second drum pattern to end the track on another mood.
I won't say anything about the mixing and sound quality as I'm not on my best setup.

    Congrats!
