    Ok, So your playing tonight. Getting paid or not?

    Seeing how the scene has died down a bit and no gets paid anymore. (unless your popular, which also means you don't have to be good.) If your asked to play who should initiate the conversation about money? The promoter or the DJ. I'm just wondering because I know alot of djs in chicago and one the the topics that come up is the shady promoters. (Oh you didn't know?) Hope no one thought Chicago was this big happy house family. Well you know now. Comments, and please stay on topic.
