When you want to sell a track......

I have a friend who is going to try and sell her track thru Reverbnation and itunes and maybe Amazon. She asked me if I knew any overseas outlets. This is her first venture and I was wondering if I could get some advice to pass to her from those who have done it. The track is very electro.

    Hi Chuck
Has she set up a label or have a distributer?

It is by far the best way to do this. they know the buisness and will handle this for them.

I think the best way is to find a record label that will sign or even license the track. From my experience, I didn't have positive results using Reverbnation and iTunes. Just tell her to find out where her target market is buying their music & put her music there.. a good place for electro stuff is beatport.

But first see if you can find a record label that can sign the tune!
