Goals for 2011:

1. Keep on becoming a better man: treat people with more kindness, respect and compassion. Demand the same from them. No matter what happens in my personal relationships, I will radiate love and understanding, rather than anger and spite. This is for the benefit of the other person, but more importantly, myself. Anger and hate will only destroy me.


5. Throw some successful house music parties in Amsterdam. I have been thinking about this for over a year, with little progress. While this will not be the top priority for me in 2011 (personal development is), it will be a great way for me to add some excitement and goals to my life.

I have at least 3 very good line-ups who are supportive of me and my vision for the party. They have followings and have offered their services at no cost for the first 3 parties to get this thing going. I need to take this idea more seriously and meet with promoters, venues, etc. Very experienced people in Amsterdam have offered to help me. And, when ready, I will turn to DHP for advice........

One thing I have learned living in Amsterdam....weed is a real strong drug and there are many people who like to center their life around it. While less obviously destructive then people who center their life around hard drugs, it can be insidious to me (and them, but I live for myself) to spend too much time with them. While I may criticize people for being too gung-ho on touting their own personal accomplishments, I very much do not like to spend time around people who have minimal life goals. Its contagious (and BORING!!!).


8. Get in many less stupid, pointless Internet arguments on DHP and elsewhere. I realize how pointless they are, and how they take a toll on my psyche. Some folks can give and receive anger and hostility over the net and not be affected. For me, it simply contributes to anger and dissatisfaction.
