Unmastered and unfinished, sounds awful & need advice.

Im working on a track, which i thought was pretty near finished just needed to be sequenced proper, I produce on headphones & it wasnt untill i played on my speakers i use for mixing that i found out it sounded awful.

basically i put a groove together and run it through multiple filters & a flanger and decided to use the new loop as my bassline ! it sounds a bit crazy but i couldnt replicate the bassline this has unexpectidly created. So i have 2 problems: the loop i created has kicks in it but without the kicks the bassline isnt the same hence the drum loops i created have no kicks i am relying on the kicks to come through the reformated loop (bassline) but its all just a bit of a clusterfuck.

Can someone have a listen and give me their advice on what they would do.

I must add to top it off it is not finished and unmastered aswell....bit of a sorry fucking state right now :(

    Thanks in advance guys.

Ok I have since scrapped the hook and tried to recreate the bassline as well as adding kicks, sounds alot tighter. But obviously the original groove is lost. Win some lose some i guess.

Havent listened as soundcloud is blocked from work. But as a guess, couldnt you still use the original loop but sidechain compress it with your new kick so it quietens down ("hides") the kick element from the loop when your kick plays? Also, high pass the loop and recreate the sub bass line using a synth. Fiddle with the high pass filter such that the sub is purely from the synth but the mids / everything else (therefore, groove) come through from the loop.
Ive done this kind of thing before and its been effective, i.e. making bootlegs of other tracks and adding better kicks and more powerful sub bass lines which are otherwise sound muddy, cluttered, or weedy (or all 3).
