When keeping it real causes death. Thank you N.W.A. being gangsta is whazup! NOT!!!

A few weeks ago we saw Lupe Fiasco break down on MTV Rapfix speaking about Chicago and its youth. Fast forward and today a young artist by the name of Lil JoJo has been killed following a diss-record.

Joseph 'Lil JoJo' Coleman was killed in cold-blood over what many believe involved a beef with Chief Keef's #3Hunna crew. The 16-year old rapper released a video aimed in the direction of his fellow Windy City rappers.

Not sure if anyone ever posted this artice about L'il Mousey (sp) hailing out of Roseland. Same b.s. waving guns, cussin', using the word N***a. Videographer downplays outcry claiming rapper is just, "keeping it real". http://www.suntimes.com/news/mitchel...rap-video.html

If you shout out a Gang putdown on a record, its just like calling a crew out, on the street. Folks are shot and killed for much much less, now.

Back when I was young in that Chicago ghetto I came from, let me come home with a shirt that my mom didn't know where it came from...I got the 3rd degree right on the spot!!!

These kids got high speed phones, guns to include extended clips, etc but the parents don't know shit - outside of they didn't buy the stuff for em.

Who all here remember hiding something in your room but mom found it while you were at school?

It's a old saying but i say this to my kids. I need to know-where are you going, cause if something would happen to you
and the cops ask me, did i know anything about it( it's either yes or no) Don't put me in that kind of spot. I did not do it
to your grandparents, so don't do it to me. Kids these days are crazy.. and it's so easy to say. remember they use to say, it takes
    a village. not no more..

I was in the store the other day. A security guard tells a five year old to chill, because he's purposely knocking down store displays. His mother, standing nearby, says to security "You don't "tell my son to cool out, I do!"

You see what we're up against, out here? The parents of these hoodlums are 'keeping it real', too . That 5yo will be holding a pistol in about 7 years and his mother will claim she didn't know.

Kids of the suburbs are doing that shit in France and the Police went on it a lot more these past 2 years: Facebook threats, playing gangs on blogs, youtube vids as a dissing weapon, and after all that shit they gather by dozens from each sub in a railway station and get messy for an hour, before the Popo put them wild 13eeeens in their trains (opposite ways of course) until they come back that next day.

Even the girls are into it, girly gangs, thank god they just have blank bullets in their fake guns -or maybe that's why they are so gangsta, no-one ever gets down for good.

Last time I went to Paris with my brother, a little guy about 8 went to me and asked with this ghetto voice "What? Whattawhattawot? Got a problem?".
I'm 6.5 floors high, what he thought was fear on my face was the horrifying vision of what's next... We took him with my bro in a flash and he landed far. Poor kid!

Thank you lord we don't have easy gun access! Only real gangsters -who do it for a living and a bed in jail- do.

I have family and friends in Englewood, Atgeld Gardens, and neighboring Marquette Park. The all said the police is on high alert. They can tell.

Last I heard, Cheef Keef had threatened Lupe Fiasco after Fiasco said the culture Keef comes from scares him. I've known Lupe for years and he's not from that kind of culture. I hope the ignorance doesn't go any further.

Your dislike of rap is well documented dude, but you need to know that rap beefs started long before NWA. Rap was built around dissing & bragging rhymes aimed at rival crews. It's unfortunate that this lil kid lost his life, but you nor anyone else knows what happened yet.

But continue your beef with rap, you seem to enjoy it.

I called Rap Music stupid shit after hearing Rappers Delight for the first time.

Seeing as no House Music DJ or Crew has murdered their rival EVER...I say being a House Music DJ is a great thing and rap music is bullshit!

What I say has nothing to do with sales either. Metallica got larger than Guns & Roses, never seen them go for guns because one got better than the other.

Nigga shit = failure and I am not a fan of Nigga shit.

LRR, rap music isn't the problem and if you like and respect house or any other kind of music you have to respect rap because i IS an art - and a very well accepted art. No, Gun n Roses and Metallica haven't gone for guns but best believe, just like hip hop/rap has their beefs, there are plenty of rock bands that also have their beef with each other and also have plenty of riots/deaths that result from it.

The reason why we hear of all the hip hop/rap crap is because the media LOVES to get on the horn about all the negative black shit, but all the shit happening with some of these rock bands seem to never see daylight amongst the media. I can't think of the name, but at one point there was a documentary on Netflix that covered this very thing, about bands that were against each other, fought each other and at times killed.

It ain't just a rap thang, beleedat.
