When I was much thinner and younger

Ps. 1975. I was trying to stay underground as much as possible (never wanted to "expose myself" and agreed to do an IV for the Village Voice for my friend Vince Aletti. The jacket I bought in London, as I use to spend a lot of time there between 67 - 73.
Lived in Chiswick for 3 months also.

Haha...hey we were all younger and thinner once...
Where were you hanging out in London? Where did you go dancing?

Mostly upstairs at Ronnie Scott's. Also a lot of private parties in people's homes.

Ronnie Scott's is still going. Roy Ayers played there last week.
P.S. A good recording, "Sarah Vaughn at Ronnie Scott's". Mid 70s. Fantastic version of Send In The Clowns.

29 years later when I went back 2 london, I went over to Ronnie Scotts.
I also went to the park across the road from the Lancaster Gate Hotel where I use to go often. I sat there for awhile. You know that expression, "if I knew what I know now, then" --- it was a feeling I can't explain.
But I use to dream sometimes about that park and being in it......then I saw it again, in the real.
This time when I get there I am going to Chiswick.
I use to take the underground almost everyday. I want to re-trace some of me steps i.e. memories. Hopefully I have learned well and my steps will be more graceful.

I'm not sure what Chiswick was like in the last 60s and early 70s but today it's a very wealthy area. It's a very pretty part of London, some nice greenery around there too.
