    Aloha,
So one day I'm messing around remixing my friends track and we end up making a house remix of it. It's probably not as good as what you are used to hearing since we mainly write dnb. IF you do want to hear it check it out at

    Yo,
Sounds nice, what's your setup? Only critizism is that the drums need some more variation. It also sounds a bit empty, might be the way its structured, chuck in a vocal maybe? Overall great track from a DnB producer.

Thanks for the Kind words. I do agree it does sound abit empty. We originally were gonna have a female vocalist on it, but as usual in Hawaii, she flaked out on us at the last minute.

Do you want to know my setup for that song or just my setup in general?

Either, I listened to your other tunes too an are digging them. I used to be a DnB person before I discovered house ;)

My setup is Cubase sx2, Kontakt, Novation A-Station, Nord lead Rack, Alesis DMPro (Part of my electronic drumset), Mackie 1604, Drawmer dl241, DBX, 166xl, Akai MFC42, Yamaha SPX90, Oxygen 8, Motu Midi express xt, Aardvark LX6, Alesis ra100, pair of Alesis Monitor ones, misc vst efx and vsti's.

For the house track, I used the original recordings from the Umbra song and ran a guitar loop through the orange vocoder and automated it to get the sweeping synth sound. Other than that we edited the original wav's and used a couple of samples in Kontakt.
