    well, each of the parts is offset a bit to give it a swinging groove but maybe too much since you mentioned it. It's really only complete up to the end of the second verse after which it falls apart and the whack conga pattern with the bass line is filler until a third verse gets inserted.

    nothing wrong with this kind of 'bootleg' IMO

    it's not an uncommon way for producers to get known

    the old skool London garage scene thrived on it

    Then its a cover song....New Song and New Artist....No conflict with the label or singer....you would just pay publishing which is perfectly legal...you just pay 10 cent a copy to the publisher.....Its not a bootleg.....
