Can anyone recommend this seems to be better than the oxygen8 with more knobs to twiddle and more keys should i want to learn the keyboard.

Yep.
They do the job for the amount of $ they cost. Works well with programs like Reason etc, easy to assign the knobs etc.

That 461 does look a lot nicer with loads more knobs but a bit too expensive for me. :(
