ive just relised i can download a patch script file to access the sounds via midi (sound module mode) so ive done that and thought it was working fine until i tried to access more than one patch at the same time.

why, when i make a new midi channel and try to aceess a new tone through the groovebox, doesnt it allow me to do this, what am i missing?

im positive you can access more than 1 tone?!

HEY! I own one and I have heard of lots of cats still using them such as the BEASTIE BOYS Money Mark, BECk, Air, Daft Punk and The Sneaker Pimps.

I actually saw the Sneaker Pimps perform live at a club I was flored when I saw they not only had Akai rack samplers but front stage center was a moog and an MC-303 which the bassist rocked durring the performance. I met the band afterwards and were estatic to know that I also owned a MC303. They thought it was cool someone noticed they were using that kit.

Hey just read the manual and go to the yahoo 303 site and also scan the web there is tons of info on the mc303. Its so versitile my first house tracks were done on it. Also I use it still for synth sounds. Its killer for bass though. I know alot of hip-hop heads use it as an inexpensive synth too. Great sounds on the 303.

Ive owned one awhile and sometimes I can hear MC303 patch sounds on records and its funny cos I know they have one (or the MC505). Such as, UK pop band, Texas, and Jermain Dupri...
    Have fun and good luck.

I also own a MC-303. I bought it when it first came out but then I sold it. I bought another one recently for $50. I tried to use it as a sound module but I was having the same problems where I was only getting one MIDI channel.

I've seen a bunch of the Electro cats use the MC-303 on stage along with guitars and vocals. I hear even Har Mar Super Star used a MC-303.

I'm thinking of selling mine again but we'll see.

Good luck finding info on it.
