Bad noise out of the Genelec 1030...

hi,
i bought a pair 1030, connected them, but the have a bad noise in the high.
what can i do to alleviate this swoosh?
i got them from ebay, now i have a bad conscience

try to isolate the source of the noise ... can you hook up some other speakers and verify that the noise is definitely originating in the genelecs?

if the noise is coming from both speakers it's more likely that it's coming from somewhere else in your setup and not from the genelecs themselves.

much thanks for your responce.
The noise comes out of the 1030 only.
A friend told me, the problem could be the very cheap mixer which i connected to the 1030. (it has no monitor input channels...)
