I miss the old site too. Unfortunately, were just not prepared to deal the powers that be. As a happy medium, we've selected the live365 format to deliver the music.

Is there a way I can use another player ?

Hi:

You dont need to download 365 player to listen.

Log on to live 365 and obtain a free account.

Then there is a link for listening wizzard.

The listening wizzard allows you to select real media player, windows media player as the audio engine for listening.

Here at work we have a fire wall. For some reason, I am able to stream the mixes by playing with the different settings.

The key is to obtain an account, then try the different options available in the listening wizzard. One of them is bound to work.

There are two stations on gottahavehouse.com. one i have old bmx songs loaded and un-mixed. the other station playa mixes 24-7. i have both new and classics mixes loaded.

Listening instructions:

First time users, how to listen to this station?
Steps:
1. Visit http://www.live365.com

2. Click on "sign up" to obatin a FREE account

3. You will be prompted to enter the following information:
a. e-mail address twice
b. choose a user name
c. enter your password twice
d. enter your age range
e. select your sex (male or female)

4. Click on "join now"

5. Check your e-mail to activate your membership
a. sign in to your e-mail
b. click on "activate account"
c. enter your user name and password

6. Go to "http://www.live365.com/stations/gottahavehouse"

7. Click on listen settings

8. Select your connection speed

9. You can download the live365 players, or select "real player", "windows media player", or "any mp3 player such as musicmatch" to use as your audio engine.

10. Select "Save Settings"

11. For those of you at work who have a fire wall in place, you may be able to try the one of the different players to listen to the audio. In some cases, we are able to bypass the firewall.

12. Go back to "http://www.live365.com/stations/gottahavehouse" and select play!!!

I would like to offer an open invitation to anyone on this board to submit mixes to be played on the station in normal rotation.

You can even e-mail be your mix as an mp3 encoded at 32KHz. I encode the mixes using the FREE version of musicmatch. I have found that Music Match encodes better quality at 32Khz vs other programs.

Otherwise, feel free to send me a cd.
