... unless I'm reading this wrong ... starting with a marathon of old episodes at 10pm tonight ...

Then what looks like a new one on Sunday @ 10:30pm ... DA ALI G SHOW 07: <--- never seen this one ...

Ali G talks with Sam Donaldson, "boss man of ABC News," about Nixon's "Waterworld" crisis, "jourmalist" biases and TV ratings, among other critical issues. Borat over-imbibes with a pair of genial gents at a wine tasting in Mississippi. Ali G probes The Simpsons legal travails with former LAPD police chief Daryl Gates, then questions a pair of ATF dog trainers about bomb-sniffers and canine discrimination.

This is one funny dude. Especially the Borat character - had me falling out my seat. "That's my wife!!!!" That is some serious comedy - looking forward to Sunday

Ali G: What's these little babies here?

DEA Agent: That's MDMA, aka Ecstasy

Ali G: Is there a chemical in them that makes you dance like a prick?

He looks like a cross between Roger Sanchez, & Armand Van Helden.

This guy's a complete baffoon. I don't know what his angle is??? Is he truly trying to come off sounding the way he does? And, I'm not talking about his english (or something different) accent either.

Unbelievable

the ran (last years ?) show here a couple of months ago on dutch television. the series where he introduced a new character, the fashion reporter (can't remember his name). it had one episode which was hilarious. he told a fashion designer how much he liked the show, because the outfits looked so heavy. the designer thanked him, and acknowledged the heavy part. then ali's character went on, and also complemented him on his ability to keep things light. again the designer agreed. this went on for about 5 minutes

LOVE the show ... absolutely hilarious!

The DEA agent episode had me literally rolling on the floor laughing. My favorite line was something like:

Ali G: So, you gots a lot of grass 'ere, what ya tink its worf on da street?

DEA Guy: Oh, easily about twenty grand.

Ali G: Man, you bein' robbed - I can getcha a much better deal dan dat!

i reckon that he is trying to sounds as he does - the character is a piss take of white youths in places like staines (where the character comes from - a nothing town not too far from london) trying to act/talk/be 'black' hence the famous 'is it cos i is black?' line in the one where he's getting threatened with arrest

the show features hilarity for its own sake..an anarchistic attack on mores and customs and propriety

i laff my ass off watching this show

yesterdays interview with the wine guys had me screaming laughing

"i wish i had been raped by somebody else!"
As for the charges against me, I am unconcerned. I am beyond their timid lying morality, and so I am beyond caring.
