    I gotta hear this one-I have 3 or 4 Rush tapes and they all sound scattered. The only time I've heard Rush slam was at a party he spun @ Kaboom in the 90's. He was much better live than on these tapes. [img]graemlins/cool_shades.gif[/img]

    This is one of my influences. I kind of equate him to being the Ron of my generation--he kept the wild, raw, by the seat of your pants style going for some of the younger crowd to see! I never made it to the Box--but those Sunday Medusa's jams with Armando Gallop were off the chain. Can still remember being drunk off my ass and jacking to a backwards edit of Spasticus!

    Which version of 'In the Bottle' is he using? It's not COD nor Gil Scott. Anyone?

    The Brother to Brother version.It dropped on Turbo.There's a nice re-edit which extends the flute solo at the end on Unidisc.Haven't seen that around for a while.

    They have re-issued the original Gil lp"Winter in america" that has the bottle on it. It's at DustyGroove.

    The Brother to brother version is on the lp titled "In the bottle."It is going for mucho loot nowadays.
