Sorry for the delay, traveling a lot and slow-ass connections...

Anyway, I think that this track reminds me of the very sexy attitude which some of Larry's favorite records always had, with raunchy spoken words and such, including 'Baby Wants To Ride' -type things.

As far as the resurrection of the genre and such, I may not be the right person to ask, as I was on a DJ sabbatical during Acid House's golden years. There are some cool recent things out in the same vein by Josh Wink, Mateo Murphy, Rachman Dundov, etc...

Hell, if it's good, I'll usually play it regardless of its pH being acid or alkaline. (Chemistry joke) This is a truly great gem of a track. And further, since few people are playing it, no concern of having it wear out so soon!!

Did electro and freestyle have a lot of cross over with acid?

It's available at tweekin.com. It's a huge track here in San Francisco... Abe Duque prolly made a killing off of it. He released prolly like 50 promos in SF in May and they sold out in just a few days. Then all the record stores ordered as much as they could get their hands on but apparently they ordered too much and now every store has like a stack of 40 of them just sitting there. Still a great track though.
