Hi guys,

What does this record sound like? And how much would you pay for it? Thanks in advance!

A Chitown classic, sitting in my box right now. How much I'd pay is relative. How much are they charging you?

GREAT record! A must have. Definitely a classic. I would imagine it's rare, but I have no idea what you should pay for it though. I've had my two copies for over twenty years. Paid $3.49 a piece......JMJ :D

I just sold one for $15, the promo goes for more, but you can always get lucky and pick one up cheap...

I paid $8 for mine, and at the time I got it, I wanted it so badly that I would have paid up to $20 for it.

used to see them lying around all the time for $1.00 especially in Montreal but they've been hard to find the last two years.
Great record but I wouldn't pay more than $10.00 for it,
still come across a copy every now and then.

A classic for sure, as was said before the price is really relative to how badly you want the track, if you wait around you should eventually pick one up for between £10 - £20.

It is a nice 132bpm jazzy disco track, with slight rocky edge - maybe a little reminsiant of the Prince material of the period. I beleive it is jazz drummer Alphonze Mouson.

Also check the more soulful flip - the sax filled "I Still Love You Baby", which many prefered when it came out.

I think $15 would be about the going rate, but you could probably get one cheaper if you wait and look around. It isn't rare or sought after.

I picked it up a couple of years ago for about $12 and was surprised when I played it and discovered how fast it is, because all the mix sets I'd heard it in had it pitched way, way down.

This song is the bomb-it really comes in handy when you are mixing and you mix yourself into a corner and you need a song that has energy. It is funny to hear people say it is jazzy with all that rock guitar in it though.

I found a promo copy a while ago for $1.00. But if I didn't have it, I wouldn't spend more than $10.00 US for it. It is very useful when you are in a pinch.
