There are so many things that are wrong with this video. As Jamie mentioned, this is NOT a great addition to Black History Month.
I'm sure that this isn't the first time that something like this has happened, and I'm sure it won't be the last. I'm also sure that this type of crime has been perpetrated by and against all races. I find it interesting that this particular clip, chosen by the media, is of a Black perp against what appears to be an Asian or Caucasian female. I guess Black males are the only ones that commit crimes that are video-taped, because I can't think of any recent newscasts that shows otherwise. This is what's known as Yellow Journalism. There's no value in this other than it being shocking and continuing a stereotype of Black youth as criminals-in-waiting.

So now the next young brother in Hip-Hop attire is going to be watched a little bit more closely.
Hell, the non-Black women are probably going to clutch their purses a little bit tighter when I'm on the elevator with them. Some copycat idiot is going to try this in his neighborhood, and worst of all, some innocent kid is going to get shot by some scared store owner because he looks like the thug in the video.

I feel very sorry for the victim, I also feel sorry for the negative effect that comes from the release of this video, but I feel sorriest for those that can't understand why it's not funny and why it's not appropriate to forward everything that ends up in your e-mail.

People are way too quick to crucify on this board. I did not find it funny but a person I work with thought it was hilarious. The person who laughed is generally a good guy and I did not judge him for laughing at it. I believe that Mark is on point when he says that humor is subjective. It was an f'd up thing that happened to this young woman. Speaking of which that whole angle is getting pretty tired around here. I don't think his finding this funny had anything to do with it happening to a woman. If it had been a man he probably would have posted the same thing.

I posted the one with the woman falling throught the floor and I thought it was funny. Not because it was a woman either. Be it a woman, man or cartoon tiger(Their Great!) that shit was funny to me. My initial reaction was concern for the lady.

While I didn't find it all that funny, there's a big difference between this one and the other two: the victim was not purposefully harmed, but instead was hurt due to a co-worker's negligence.
