I just bought my first record off Gemm a few days ago for a fair price. I couldn't hepl but notice that some sellers on that site are out of there mind. While looking through the Prescription records, I see that someone is asking over $100 for "The Wanderer" and $80 for Ani "Love Is The Message". These are great tracks but c'mon thats alot of cash. Is anybody actually buying them for that amount?

I just wonder what the sellers base there prices on. I guess that is why e-bay is better in some respects.
Hey, speaking of prescription records if you have any for sell let me know. In the last few weeks I found that Ani track in addition ot Noni "The Gift" and Tasters Choice "Instant Coco" for $5 at the local diggin' spot. I'm really tryin to complete the catalog.

Seriously, at this point, I just stay patient, records come my way eventually. Plus Gemm sellers seem to overcharge on shipping and handling, so when I order, I try to find the cheapest record at least so that I don't pay an arm and a leg for records. And it's really funny when you see four people selling the same record at a different price!

Gemm.com didn't use to be that way. It was more of an exclusive site for record collectors initially, but the more people that started to utilize the site, the higher the prices became. It often depends on what you're looking for and where you find it too. I've seen records that were $75 in New York record shops, but $5 or less in record shops in the Midwest.
