Can you DJs put SOME damn DISCO into your sets??? I mean you CAN play it right??? I wanna hear some hot ass DISCO sets on some of these on-line mixes from these new breeds.....Don't be scared...Playing some shit that has programmed beats thru the whole set aint nothing but beat mixing to me...Lets hear some of those DISCO blends then well see who can REALLY spin with skill..Matching beats on some real instrumentation is what I'm talking about...Let's hear it can you do it???

Not "I DON'T play Disco" but CAN you play Disco and not trainwreck???

I know Ayo there is a whole crop of DJs that have sprouted up and just cannot play any Disco..So they use the phrase "I don't play that anymore"...When what they should be saying is "I CAN'T play it".....

you are asking alot, don't you think? </font>[/QUOTE]Not really Ray How can people Exclude music that has so much feeling. And was the core fore all of these derivatives that we now have..Just totally skip over it...Like trying to run when ya never mastered walking....

Does it now suck or something?? It just takes more attention and keeping your hand ON the pitch and working it until the record is faded out...

Sometimes I cringe when I hear some cats attemting to play some Disco...It's not always the songs but how they just SLAM it in or it sounds like some Clydesdales running thru the place...

I'm speaking on this so-called New crop of DJs that pop up by the hundreds and just skip the whole genre and start playing all this boom chi shit at the same BPMs all night long that you can go to the bathroon and come back and the songs will still be on beat..

I think Hippie said it best...It's about knowing your Records".

It's easy as hell for some of us who has been spinning Disco for a While now.
If you know what you have then it shouldnt be a problem .

I just think some Dj's are lazy as hell and dont want to put up with the Concentration of Blending Disco.
