2. Is anyone from DHP Brum going?

If he is definitely gonna be in Brum, I'm definitely gonna be there to support.

Yeah I saw this too, quite supprised to say the least. Its on at Fuel I think, really odd, not really much of a Broad St. fan so I may give it a miss.

I think its odd too... especially since I've been to Fuel 4 different times and the musical format seemed to be consistently hard house, each time.

However, if MJ is gonna be here... I'd be less than a Chicagoan if I didn't go to support even if it was for 1 hour or 2 budweisers, whichever lapses first. LOL!

saw him at a local club right up the road last year. he was totally disappointing. he played really terribly bad commercial hardbag/euro/trance-crap. not a funky or deep record the whole night. plus he wore one of those caps with this big shiny metal X on front, that looked really tacky (that shit was tacky the day the movie came out).

all i can say is, if you're salivating over the idea of seeing one of the originators, one of the masters laying down some house like we understand it, be prepared for the unexpected.

    cheers. ngeso.

    </font>
Marshall has played Birmingham before a few times so it shouldn't be too much of a surprise, I think it'll be a commercial exercise in collecting payment.

Ibiza crowd pleasing, same as alot of US DJ's when they come here

Roger Sanchez, will come to UK and play "I Beefa" set.

Fuel is hardly known for a great music policy, it's OK for the more commercial clubber of course, but then again, isn't the whole of Broad Street.

I'm in Brum check my mixes out (hint hint - the one in your husbands Nev M's car since the trip to Manchester - you can't escape it ) although you have avoided it quite well so far..

    June 11th... this Friday.

Well, if my fabulous hubby says "nay"... then I won't be going anyway... because I can't drive stick, so commando of the car is out of the question and I'm too old to be going to a party on the damn bus. Hee-hee-hee.

    Take care,

that night i mentioned, they had rigged up a Pioneer 600. and Marshall Jefferson had that flanger-effect-thingy on permanently. like a bloody eighteen-year-old novice. it was totally fucking unnerving.

I don't hold much hope for you, he's not keen on Fuel.

I doubt you hubby will want to drink and drive either , do the usual - get a cab.

I think Nev is also aware of out of town DJ's not living up to much and going with the £cha ching $ crowd pleasers.

Ha, yeah everyone seems to know Oyvind and/or Woody. Thanks for the compliments, Birmingham ain't the best place to be promotiong but its well worth the effort at the end of the day, hope you get to make it down sometime.
