chicago - a good weekend to randomly visit

i'm getting a few friends together to take a long weekend, chicago is the destination. any weekend in particular you can recommend to visit, in terms of music/parties?

we don't want to come on a holiday per se, but we are coming to check out the local scene/clubs/djs ..

any suggestions are appreciated

(any other dc folk are welcome to hit me up if you want to come too)

Just don't come when it's cold.I'd hate to say it,but Labor day weekend will be hot.Plenty of shit goin' down.

There's clubs,then underground events.Depends on what weekend you come,if you will find something goin down that particular weeekend or not,undergroundly speaking.

shadrachs never been there .. and i jsut wanna get away. and a few other guys and stuff are coming, im gonna try to make 623 come too (she came w/me last time i went)
