I got this email today and if YOU got one, forward the whole email to spoof@ebay.com (I did). The fake ebay address below will take you to a site called "interpro2-test.com". This is where they will STEAL the billing information which YOU would have provided....if ya didn't know better.
BE CAREFUL and remember this a criminal USING eBay LOGOS and innocent LOOKING hyperlinks as a tool.....not a reason for you to say "this is why I dont use ebay". This like a Nigerian bank scam...a criminal act. BE CAREFUL~!!

Update your credit card information and bank information on your eBay account within 24 hours

If you don't complete the verification eBay team will be forced to suspend your account until you provide the specified informations.

Please click here to update your account file:

Unfortunately, eBay has not been able to authorize your credit/debit card or you don't have entered your credit card on file. Your credit/debit card information must be updated on your eBay account immediately.
When you update your credit/debit card on eBay, eBay will attempt to authorize your card.
The response from your credit/debit card company will appear on your account status page as either approved or declined within 24 hours of receipt.

As outlined in our User Agreement, eBay will periodically send you information about site changes and enhancements.

It was a total nightmare. i had all my auctions that were running cancelled - had to get a new email address.
No idea what happened to whoever it was who got caught

I get one of these per week, give or take. I don't even have a Paypal account but I frequently get Paypal scams, too.
