I did a search for the HotMix 5 on google and somehow ended up on DHP's mixes page. didn't know there was a forum so i registered.

I got that email from TOT and migrated over with a bunch of us that had started out on the old MAW site. A hacker came on that site and just went nutzzzzzzzzzz with this duplicating message with this Captain Ahab signature.... We then were on a local NYC site which was actually very, very good most of the time, and then here. I did resist registering for quite a while, actually I think at some point things started to go haywire here too and Gman had to require us to register at that point if we wanted to post. Can't remember how many years ago that was. Its been a great ride, much love to the DHP [img]graemlins/1luvu.gif[/img]

While in jail, I was one of only a few people who played real HOUSE music. I would blare my shit all day and all night. All these other cats playing their rap and I am playing some old school disco shit. My cell was like "LIVE FROM THE DEPT. OF CORRECTIONS... IN MT. STERLING... ITS THE BHOUSE SHOW..." I would have guys sitting in the cell talking about the all the parties from back in the day. Anyway, when I was released, one of my best friends came by and picked me up and he had some shit on CD. It was like the clouds parted and angels began to sing. I asked where he got these CD's from... his answer "DEEPHOUSE.PAGE!!!" Been a member ever since.

Thru the site disco-disco.com, they have some Larry Levan tape with the DHP link.
As I saw all these mixes (David, Walter Gibbons, Hardy, T.Scott, LL, FK, FK, Regisford, Hippie..etc..)I knew it was the place to be!
What I like on DHP is the fact that people are open minded when it comes to music.
