Has a son by the first wife, not sure if there are anymore - but had a child out of wedlock (while in NY filming the show Law & Order SVU) and that was the last I heard anything about him, never realized he got divorced.

Paternity Suit Filed Against Rapper/Actor Ice T

Posted June 10, 2002-- Gangsta rapper-turned-actor Ice T (real name Tracy Marrow) was hit with a paternity suit on June 6 by a New York woman, a representative for the Manhattan Family Court told BET.Com. The pair is scheduled to address the case in court early next month.

The woman, reportedly a 29-year-old actress, filed the suit and alleges Ice T, 43, is the father of her 9-month-old baby. According to published reports, Ice T has already taken a paternity test which verified him as the father of the child. Due to the personal nature of the case, the representative of the Manhattan Family Court refused to confirm additional details of the case.

Currently, the woman has requested 17% Ice T's yearly salary. "This is a child support case and 17% is the standard percent of a one child support case," said the rep to BET.Com.

A publicist for Ice T declined to comment on behalf of the performer.

While he is not married, Ice T has had a relationship with his girlfriend, Darlene, for over 15 years. Darlene appeared on the covers of Ice T's first two album covers, 1987's Rhyme Pays and 1988's Power. The two have a young son together.

Every Friday, Ice T appears on the weekly criminal drama "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit," ironically playing a police officer on NBC. In the past, the actor has appeared in movies like "New Jack City," "Breakin'" and "Ricochet" with Denzel Washington.

Earlier this year Ice T announced to BET.Com that he was forming a new group, SMG [Sex Money Guns] with Brooklyn rappers Smooth Da Hustler and Trigga Da Gambler.

Through the years, he has experienced huge success as an actor even though his career began as a pioneering 80's gangsta rapper out of California. As the first artist to earn a Parental Advisory Sticker, Ice T has released eight often-controversial albums.
