    That was the "jump off" song at our wedding reception (should have seen the steppers come out on the floor [img]smile.gif[/img] ). I was just thinking about the song and that day today.

    Yo Shannon,I'm back out south too.I did a grand opening gig for Ali Saturday.Can't make the set thursday,I have to play up north that nite.

    Did he open up a new shop? I haven't seen dude since the concrete jungle. I wish yall still was banging the tunes there. People would've never expected to have a spot like that out south. I never got a chance to do the basement parties. But I hear the setup is nice..

    Lee lives here in Seattle. He is still a badass player and plays with The Original Lowriders (4 ex-members of War who play new stuff and War classics, they are awesome!). I met him when I worked in a music store because we sold his brand of harmonicas. He is a super nice guy! I'm told his son is a drum & bass dj here.
