I don't think that questioning the appropriateness of posting slanderous rumors about somebody who is not here to defend themselves...on a public message board, no less...without proof or sources, makes one an asshole. Has Akila been more responsible in his posting...he would not have received such hostility. If this were a printed publication (and in many ways it acts as one), there would be a reasonable case for libel. Props to Magnus and mhd for questioning the sources.

the second thing you seem to assume is that the quantity one writes has any bearing on either the quality or accuracy of that statement. looking back once again at your posts, i see that while possibly intending to bring up the issue of the necessity or right-mindedness of akila's initial post, you instead get caught up in what can only be referred to as "doggin".
with that in mind, and with particular attention paid to the dynamics of online messageboards, i find it quite appropriate to make a direct, and precise statement regarding the 'tude expressed in mhd's posts and yours aswell. i'll admit that on a general basis mhd was a little more heavyhanded with blind disrespect and agro. then again, i can't help but notice that you typed "cause there are too many bitch ass, faggot ass need to get slapped down mothafuckers in this industry who jus wanna run around and spread fucking rumors....bitches."

Not sure how it applies, but I get your point, and respect your position, at least it has some basis in fact, unlike akila's original post.
Not sure how familiar you are with dhp, but it can be a tremendous resource for music professionals and fans and fellowship. I referred to akila's age, probably a mistake of sorts, my main beef is how he came to this place and posted unfounded rumours. Almost immediately, people were trying to school him on the music biz as well as how things work here.

i'm back a little early. this thread has really done nothing but upset a whole lot of individuals which is way beyond what the original intentions were. and yeah i know, i know i really went about thw whole thing the wrong way. MY APPOLOGIES. it was wrong of me to bust out any names i should of been a little more discreet in posting what i did.
RIGHT? my appologies to all whom i may have offended. and especially to Louis if he has read this (i know, CHILDISH) thread which i have posted.
so lets start over with this.
do you feel it is right for individuals to claim credit for another artists work? i think i'ts wrong, wrong, wrong. but what i have gotten from others on this board though is that IT IS o.k. for someone to take credit for something they didn't do but it is not alright for us to talk about it. why is that? school me on this one cuz i really need to know. this time around we don't have to mention any names.
i fully agree with Konbit, MHD, Magus and Gabriell cuz they stepped the fuck up and let it be known that they fully disagred or agreed with what i was saying everyone else (today at least) just hopped on the band wagon to talk shit for the sake of talking shit. i may be biting my tongue for going about this the wrong way but doing it the way the rest of ya'll who i didn't mention did is just plain as (Sir Charles Barkley used to say) Uncivilized.
