there are some songs that fit right into a house set but they aren't house

just listening to Pat Metheny "are you going with me" between two house tracks and it feels right

what other songs fit this mold for you?

That's it, Ron. I own everything the police ever did, most of what third world has done and quite a lot from pat metheney group. There's so much more good music from these artists and others that so few bother to explore. Don't let me learn how to mix well... [Big Grin] I just love music.

One of the wonderful things to me about our music--its inclusiveness. Many songs clearly not intended to be house become house. One of my all-time favorites would have to be "Countdown" by Lee Ritenour. In my book, that's most definitely house!

Funny you should mention this track. We always play some nice jazz at work, days can be really long so it helps. My boss dropped this "Montreal Jazz Fest" CD which was pretty decent and the last track was "are you going with me". I thought it was a brilliant track and I also thought that I had heard this before.... til I realized that Kerri had done the remix on Digital Soul 2. Wicked.

tracks that feel house but aren't? Hmmmm, there are tons. One that comes to mind is the original "Let the wind blow" by Fertile Ground. I prefer it to the house remix.

Bruh, the category of what is house is being whittled down to nothing. Eventually, we are going to be listeing to electronic bleeps, and calling that house.

I like Dark beers, stouts to be exact.

"Bleep...Bleep...Bleepty...Bleep... ."
