Went to the airport right after the party and breakfast. Arrived in NYC safely @ 12pm.
Made it back in time to do my CyberJamz internet radio show.
All I can say for now is that I LOVE Chicago! ![[respect]](graemlins/respekt.gif)
If you missed it well you better ask some body!
I am so beat I can't even typ and express my experience now. I will elaborate on the party, the vibe and the DHP'ers as soon as I recover!

in all sincerity, the thanks goes to all of you who make DHP what it is. without DHP this party doesn't exist.
this has quickly become one of the premier house music events in chicago and you (who participate) should be very proud. there's a lot of networking happening at these parties. music exchanges, etc.
i wish all of you who are serious about the music and the scene (or whatever you endeavor) much success.

The DARKROOM was the place to be last nite!!It was really good to see :JMJ,mynia,len part 6,
E-phi,Jamie 326,discogoddess,pam,steve p,and really great to finally meet:Keith porter,DJ quad,A.K, B-house,JR JAM,Greg gray and Torin!!
I had a great time last nite!!!

MY DARKROOM STORY:
All right... I was trying to B'Cool last night... There were three very attractive women sitting alone. So I pulled out one of my many NEWPORTS and attempted to light my cigarette with candle at the table. My clumsy azz knocked over a drink and spill just a little beer in one of the women laps... She was like WTF... I apologized and tried to recover... Trying to keep my cool, I picked up the bottle and knocked over another bottle of beer on the floor... JR JAM I believe was standing looking at me... So now my COOL FACTOR is about zero now... So I bend down and pick up the bottle. Still holding on to my NEWPORT... When I finally go to light my cigarette with the candle, I blow the flame out... The women were like who is this GOOFY... I laughed out loud while I searched my pockets for my lighter. Now my lighter won't light. So after about three tries it finally lights. I light my cigarette and go to re-light their candle and the wick won't burn... LIKE ONE OF THOSE TRICK CANDLES... ![[stupid]](graemlins/stupid.gif)

Nice party. It was a who's who again. I'm tired of looking at y'all.(no but seriously) The vibe was nice all the DJ's sounded good. Got a chance to meet the dude that had me puttin' my computer monitor in a head lock(Danny Gardner)who'd a thunk it...I neva brawl...I got shorties for that. Another hatchett buried....respect given. I had my cap on when I left tha party. Really glad I met you dog(seriously) Bhouse you are live as hell.I met Alex Zen nice rappin' wicha, Beatdown ova in tha cut chillin, Trindee, Mynia, Bhouse the pictures will be on the 10:00 news. Lots of fine women, people BUYING drinks, men dancing with women, can you say "CHICAGO GETS DOWN"? Keith you can play. Good to see you again. Had me coming up out my shirt and shit..I had on a T-shirt underneath.JMJ thanx for the NICE edits.

I just have to say it was a stone groove.I saw folks there I did not expect to see,which meant the word surely is spreading about these events.
I got there around 12:30,due to some personal issues I had to attend to.I drove my ass off,so I could make sure I would be able to get in.
The place was jumpin'!!!I walked in on Greg rocking the spot.Folks dancing everydamn where.
My mans PorterHouse got on the box and jammed.That Welcome to the club edit was hot.
AK got on a served a nice set of tunes also.
I met alot of folks I did not even know who knew me.Made some nice connections there also.
It seems like we are taking the DHP to the real world also.
It was good to see everyone and I am NOT about to shout everyone out here...
Once again,props to DHP,Torin and the Nu Bang for a serious throwdown.It can only get better.
PS,it was finally good to get reaquainted with my mans Danny Gardner.

I agree with J3-everyone here has pretty much covered all the shout outs so I'll just roll with saying much props to Torin for hooking this set up. Ever since I've been on a member here, I've always hung the unity flag high and it was great to see it happing live right in front of my face. ![[thumbsup]](graemlins/thumbsup.gif)
aw fuck it-big ups to Bold Soul, Danny, Alex Zen, akila, JR and Bhouse (y'all know I'm from the south side-don't roll up on a brother like that next time! ![[rofl5]](graemlins/rofl5.gif) )-it was great to finally meet y'all. Also, ups to Mynia, Trindee, Sean Smith, A double and everyone else in the house. The shit talkin' was in full effect!
I walked through the door with the worst headache know to man, but hearing E-phi, Greg and Steve bang the box made it all better. Aside from the minor discrepancy that had to be addressed-this was THE best event I have attended in the last 6 months easily, hands down.
I am sorry if me & Zoe were on the DL, but at some points I couldn't even see straight because of my headache. But fuck it, I love to see my DHP fam get down so I wasn't going to miss this opportunity even if Zoe had to wheel me in on a stretcher. ![[rofl]](graemlins/rofl.gif)

Hey, I had a great time. The music and venue were perfect. Nice to see everyone enjoying themselves. Jamie 3:26 was a pleasure to formally meet you (young lady with the blonde locks). And JMJ you were jammin. All the DJ's did their thing. I love the mix with the old and the new. Mr. Porter thanks for coming to the Chi. It was nice to hear you spin.
