Thanks....I still got a long way to go. I felt I owed this community at least a photo after all of the questions I asked. I got some really good info here and learned from everyone. Next will be sound clips of some of my projects

Yeah, Ive been buying gear for the past 8 years. Im actually trying to slim down my studio so I have 1 keyboard and the rest rack mount gear. How do you like that master keyboard you have, it looks nice.

The MKII is awesome to say the least. It has all the 909/808 sounds built in so you can use a 909 kick and an 808 snare at the same time. This wasnt possible with the original R8 cause each of thgose sounds are on a diffrent card and you can only use one card at a time. The MKII can also hold twice the amount of sequences and has three times as many sounds as the original. I also just got this shelf for it, check it out.

Is there any difference in sound between that and the Novation Drumstation?

I sold my drumstation because I found it to be a bit noisey. This could of been just my unit, who knows? The drumstations sound editing is a bit better, but the R8 sounds damn good.Check back in a minute for an audio demo ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

Not picking on anyone but the novation is close to the real thing the R8II lacks warmth and the samples are short.

I've since sold the Voyager RME and currently have an MPC-1000 V2 on layaway. I'll pull it in November.
The S90ES is killer and I've grown quite fond of it. The SH-201 isn't any slouch either. I don't think folks take it seriously and that's really a shame.
I plan on upgrading to Mackie 824's in the near future just like you Terry. ![[Smile]](smile.gif) [ October 08, 2006, 10:55 AM: Message edited by: Twilight Being ]
