I had 2 years in Somalia, odd place like. Very dry hot place- cept when it rains, IT RAINS! Real nice beaches on the coast but Mogadishu stinks. Very Arabic looking place. I missed a flight 1 time by ten mins- luck was on my side as it crashed and every one died on it- thats for real. Had a scary moment in a light aircraft too- nearly flew into a hill side while traveling to Somalia from Kenya.
Odd place, feel sorry for the everday people there really.

Nice REAL experiences, glad you're still alive...spread what you've learned.
Cant even feed your own kind and fighting!...Man that's madness. True madness. But I guess if you bribe a cat to fight and he'll get food, then I can dig it.
