anyone here ever read Ishmael Reed? Mumbo Jumbo is great fun if you're in the mood for it. Ummm...or something like Brown Girl, Brownstones by Paule Marshall?? I don't know how much I will be able to participate, but those are my 2 cents for now...

You all HAVE to read a book called "Freakonomics" ???

It's really quite fascinating and stimulating and I'm planning to use a chapter of it next semester as a reading.

I got a copy of Freaknomics this weekend, I should be finished by the weekend. I'm finishing up Lisey's Story by Stephen King and Art of Seduction by Robert Greene (mad props to you and Paula for that one Mark)by tomorrow. I would love to discuss Freakonomics with you both.
