Club Xl and other Midnight in the Garden of House and Disco events Chicago once had?!?!
Club Xl was cute. Andre wreck shop one night when I was there. A lot of Box heads in Attendance.
The House Spot was just Fucking DEVIOUS!!!
Classic Heads, Classic Roll the Joint and Pass it to ya Friends.
IMHO the best nights there is when the Dj knew what the fuck he was doing. Crowd or no Crowd, it was danm good music being played.
Just missing the real Underground Chicago House / Disco AM Events.

i agree..i was just talkin about this with my boy...You could always have a beatin time at the house spot..YOu could go out to a couple diff spots on a sat nite then end it off at the house spot...That killer heat lamp... ![[Cool]](icon_rofl.gif) Almost tumblin down those narrow stairs.. Man some good times there..The muzik was always proper...

Da House Spot was the closest thing to a real Underground party for some of these kids..So far there has been nothing else like it since....If we only had another spot like it..Hell I LOVE hittin' a spot at 3:30 am...

Yes.Glad I had the chance to beat the place up a few times.
This is a recurring issue in chicago,it seems like.A dope underground spot opens,some folks don't go,due to personal beefs with folks and they end up missing out.
I remember folks dissing the spot when it first opened.Didn't even want to play there.The place blows up and they are kissing ass to get in.Never fails.
Fucked up for them,great for me.
I actually have a live bootleg recording of the last time I played there.My guy brought in a tape recorder with a 120 min. tape and got some sick shit on tape.
I'll upload it over the weekend.
