(and old friend (Househead from the Northeast) sent me this note ... PM me if you have a great contact, preferably someone you know, and would recommend 100%)
"Can you send me the contact info for one or more DJs? I need to secure a DJ for my family reunion. Specifically, I want someone who is fluent in Old Skool (70’s funk, etc.) as well as some good New Skool. NO GANGSTA RAP!
Also, there is a brother who just relocated to this area who I would like to turn on to some of the spots where he can network with some DJs. He too is a DJ (haven’t heard him play yet so I don’t know if I can recruit him for the reunion spot or not).

Hey DaveR,
We had a chance to meet in Miami brielfy. (I was the guy with the DHP t-shirt and we met while you were having lunch one day at the deli there on Collins)I live in the Dallas area (more specifically in Arlington)I know of a few places he can go to network. He can also hit another guy up named Woody Rosen(He's a member here) I'll PM you with My info. Have him give me a call and we can hook up. tell him to also check out www.Dallasdancemusic.com t for networking ops. DJ Spinna is in town tonight doing his Mike VS Prince thing so that might be a good show to check out.

Hey Dave, I would gladly fly 3000 miles for this gig as I'd love to do it, I've found that playing to students with no knowledge is no fun really and I'd love to lplay to people with passion...
