One thing I don't understand is why when certain health related possibilities are discovered like this one regarding parkinsons, it does not apply to all races of people. Why does something show to benefit or hurt some races and not others.

I wonder about that sometimes too, but the fact remains, certain groups of people are at a higher risk for certain things than other groups.

Yes, I can understand when the issues are diet and/or income related, but this is an addiction that seems to help delay parkinsons in Whites and Asians but not Blacks and Hispanics.. Did they study enough black and hispanic people? It doesn't make much sense. If the same drug causes lung cancer in everyone, why wouldn't it have the parkinson delaying effect on everyone?
