Come join us on JULY 6th, 2007, FRIDAY as NYC Locals (and some Bulgarians) will be taking over PURPLE - a cool, laid-back, and hip East Village Dance Lounge.
This night promises an unforgettable blend of Deep / Funky / Jackin` House, delivered by some of NYC's finest local talents.

The line up promises nothing but a crazy night:
First off, we have JAMES LOMAX & AIZAZ AKRAM (MixerAssassin), who will be warming up things proper with some Deep and Funky tunes. These two guys know how to bring the heat, but have stayed deeply underground and out-of-sight, even though you can see them showing their support at pretty much all quality house parties that have happened in NYC in the past few years - they always bring a good vibe and great tunes, so do not miss them.
NICOLE OTERO and [URL=http://www.myspace.com/alisontara ]ALISON TARA[/URL] are two ladies that need no introduction if you have been around NYC for a minute. They have played at pretty much all noteworthy venues in the city (from APT to Sullivan Room, and from Bar 13 to Cielo) - Nicole has been spinning for 7 years and Alison has been gracing the decks for over 12 years !!! In addition, they have successfully launched their own labels (Love Break Music and Dirty Trick Records respectivelly), and have a significant and diverse record collection that will get you moving properly, as their tag sets never disappoint.

KFM and his crew RSSO have been doing some serious damage around the city with booty-shaking house parties, great-vibe loft gatherings, and the like, while remaining true to the underground. KFM has been DJ-ing since 1996 and his style differs within the genre of house from deep dirty grooves to funky soulful beats with sex appeal. He has been known to lay down the grit that makes his listeners shake their rumps.
