the year: Trippin unite with Soulmates to proudly

with unusual and true to the music conceived events: as a result
Canvas is being totally overhauled to provide you with a night we hope
you will remember for years to come.

£15 entry / 10pm – late / 17.02.07 / Canvas, Kings X freight Yard, off York Way

Trippin Room:
Timmy Regisford (Shelter) & Boyd Jarvis (Live)
+Dominic Versell & Good Vibes

Soulmates Room:
Ian Friday
+ Rap Saunders & Dennis Christensen

London's night population is rarely treated to a genuinely outstanding
event – but this night promises to be something truly special. The
mighty Timmy Regisford is joined by his other half, a legend in
his own right: Boyd Jarvis (If you own any classic soul/dance
records from the eighties, chances are this duo's name appears
discreetly in the credits). While many DJ/Producers who reach the top
of their profession tend to peak and then gradually decline, Timmy
Regisford is still pushing the boundaries of contemporary dance music.
His latest offering, Africa Calling, a solo project featuring
the majestic keyboard talent of Boyd Jarvis is an exploration of
African rhythm and song that keeps its feet steadfastly on the
pulsating New York dancefloor – a crucial element many previous
American-African dance projects have overlooked resulting in great
percussive music but music that somehow does not relate to all but the
most niche of urban dancefloors . With pre-release singles already
burning up clubs across the world, London is treated to the full debut
of the project which is set to take the Miami Winter Music Conference
by storm. Dominic Versell and Goodvibes oil the dancer's
joints for Timmy's marathon 9 hour set.

Soulmates Rap Saunders and Dennis Christensen invite the
prodigious talent that is Ian Friday to set fire to the floor.
His label Tea Party has released some of the hottest trax of
the last 12 months and his party in NYC is a hotbed for creativity
spanning spoken word to House.

Due to circumstances beyond our control Quentin Harris will not be
appearing at this event as originally billed.

Don't miss this rare opportunity to experience the Best New York's
vibrant nightlife has to offer. More info available from
